I was thinking of angling in the south walls for shading. Also, I extended the roof over the back side of the horseshoe to provide shading. This is for May 21st at 2pm.
i would leave the 3rd flr or community level in plane with the entry bar. another option, to just set it back, to avoid angles; you have to draw it to see it. keep going .... draw the elevations, print the sections at an 1/8" so you can start drawing detail, place the line of the glass.
i hope the structure comments below are clear; basically instead of the triangular type bar joist "look"- the Vierendeel truss can be vertical members with gusset plates fabriced in sections, you should look this up but more importantly draw it for what it should be- simple lines. keep going...
