plaster attempt.

Did not come out as clean as I hoped it would but will defiantly work as a study for the holes in the space.

  4. It does scatter the light. I would say it is static lighting because the way the light holes are positioned. Provided a non-random illumination on the walls and floors.

  7. Thats an interesting point... Non Random. I wonder if Architecture itself could be considered random? Is there a way to break away from the traditional parameters in which we carry our daily lives. However, why would we want too? Maybe its a form of logic and reasoning to break away from the normal to keep our own sanity. The "Event" for example in a building is to excite the mind as it is foreign to the space in which the human body inhabits. I suppose Tariq's project can be changed or manipulated for the user's purpose but it still feels like there is only 2 options. I know I have seen houses and appartments with free flow plans but maybe the user has too much control of his environment.
If the building itself can change, can structure change? Perhaps technology must progress even further to adjust to EVERY need we make. The thought it exciting and scary at the same time.

If a building can adjust to the user's ability and meet every requirement he will ever need, why design differently? Perhaps the regulations and non random / organized system also keeps us as Architects still alive!
So I guess the question I pose to everyone is - How much control should the Architect give to the user?
